The casino started to expand greatly between March 2009 and July 2010. The designer of Thunder Valley Casino Resort was JMA Architecture Studios and the builder was the PENTA Building Group. Owned by the United Auburn Indian Community, it was opened in June 2003 and between 20 was operated by Station Casinos. Thunder Valley Casino Resort is a 4-Diamond award-winning AAA casino and resort.
